Composition:
Contains Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 ml as the active ingredient. Other ingredients may include sorbitol, glycerol, flavouring agents, preservatives, colouring agents, and purified water. Some versions are sugar free.

Use / Indication:
Used for the relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in children aged 6 years and above. It may be used for:

• Headache
• Toothache
• Earache
• Sore throat
• Cold and flu symptoms
• Body aches
• Post-immunization fever

Direction of Use:

• Children 6–8 years: 5 ml up to 4 times daily
• Children 8–10 years: 7.5 ml up to 4 times daily
• Children 10–12 years: 10 ml up to 4 times daily
• Children 12–16 years: 10–15 ml up to 4 times daily
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses
• Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours
• Shake well before use

Side Effects:
Possible side effects include:

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Allergic skin reactions
• Rash or itching
• Rare liver problems, especially in overdose cases

Warning:

• Do not use together with other paracetamol-containing medicines
• Overdose may cause severe liver damage
• Keep out of reach of children
• Seek immediate medical help in case of overdose even if symptoms are absent

Interactions:
May interact with:

• Warfarin and other anticoagulants
• Metoclopramide
• Domperidone
• Cholestyramine
• Flucloxacillin
• Alcohol and liver-affecting medicines

Caution:
Use carefully in:

• Children with liver or kidney disease
• Malnourished patients
• Patients with chronic alcohol exposure
• Individuals allergic to paracetamol or excipients
  Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist for more than 3 days.
