Active Ingredient

• Ulipristal Acetate 30 mg

Use / Indications

Used for emergency contraception to help prevent pregnancy after:

• Unprotected sexual intercourse
• Condom breakage or slippage
• Missed contraceptive pills
• Other contraceptive failure

It should be taken within 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex.

Dosage

• One tablet (30 mg) taken once only
• Take as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse
• Can be taken with or without food
• If vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet, another tablet should be taken.

How It Works

Ulipristal acetate works mainly by delaying or preventing ovulation, reducing the chance of pregnancy occurring.

• Fatigue
• Menstrual changes (period may come earlier or later than expected)
