Uses/Indication:
Treat uncomplicated malaria
Direction of Use:
General instructions,
Shake the bottle well before each dose.
Measure with a graduated spoon/syringe for accuracy.
Usually taken with food or milk to reduce stomach upset.
The full course is usually 3 days (do not stop early even if symptoms improve).
Side Effects:
Nausea or vomiting
Stomach pain
Headache
Dizziness
Weakness or loss of appetite
Warnings/Interactions:
Use with caution in patients with:
Liver disease
Kidney disease
Heart rhythm problem
History of seizures
Psychiatric disorders (with some partner drugs like mefloquine)
