How It Works

Pregabalin works by binding to calcium channels in the nervous system, reducing excessive nerve signalling that causes pain, tingling, and hypersensitivity.


 

Dosage

Adults:

  • Usually started at a low dose (e.g. 75–150 mg/day equivalent)
  • ER formulation is taken once daily, dose adjusted based on response and tolerance
  • Must be individualized by a prescriber

 

How to Use

  • Take once daily at the same time
  • Swallow whole (do not crush or chew ER capsules)
  • Can be taken with or without food
  • Do not stop suddenly without medical advice

Warnings / Precautions
