Uses / Indications
- Dry cough
- Tickly cough
- Irritating cough
- Non-productive cough
- Suppresses the urge to cough
Direction of Use
- Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml up to 4 times daily
- Use measuring cup provided
- Do not exceed recommended dose
- Oral use only
- Seek medical advice if cough lasts more than 7 days

Severe overdose may cause:
- Hallucinations
- Respiratory depression

Warnings / Precautions
- May cause drowsiness
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine
- Contains alcohol and sweeteners
- Use cautiously in diabetes
- Do not exceed stated dose
- Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Avoid prolonged use without medical advice
Drug Interactions
- MAO inhibitors (MAOIs)
- SSRIs and other antidepressants
- Sedatives
- Alcohol
- Other cough/cold medicines
- CYP2D6 inhibitors
Risk of serotonin syndrome may increase with certain antidepressants.
Contraindications / Caution
- Allergy to dextromethorphan or ingredients
- Severe asthma or breathing problems
- Severe liver disease
- Children under recommended age
- Use with MAOIs within the last 14 days
