Composition

• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
• 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
• Liquid glucose
• Sucrose
• Orange flavouring
• Menthol
• Star anise oil
• Wheat starch (contains gluten)
• Sulphites

Uses / Indications

• Sore throat
• Throat irritation and scratchiness
• Mouth and throat infections
• Mild throat pain
• Provides soothing relief and antiseptic action
• Vitamin C adds mild nutritional support during illness

Direction of Use

• Adults and children over 6 years
• Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed
• Maximum 12 lozenges in 24 hours
• Do not chew or swallow whole
• Short-term use only

Side Effects

• Mild mouth or throat irritation
• Burning or tingling sensation
• Nausea
• Stomach discomfort or diarrhea
• Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling in rare cases)

Warnings / Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 6 years
• Contains sugar (not suitable for uncontrolled diabetes without caution)
• Contains wheat (gluten) and sulphites
• Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms last more than 3 days
• Avoid if allergic to any ingredient

Drug Interactions

• No significant known interactions
• Caution when using multiple throat lozenges or antiseptic products together

Contraindications / Caution

• Allergy to amylmetacresol or 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol
• Fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption
• Wheat (gluten) sensitivity or coeliac disease
• Sucrose intolerance conditions
