Composition
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
- 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
- Liquid glucose
- Liquid sucrose
- Peppermint oil
- Star anise oil
- Menthol
- Wheat starch (contains gluten)
- Sulphites
- Flavouring agents
These act mainly as mild antiseptic ingredients for the throat, helping reduce infection and irritation.
Uses / Indications
- Sore throat
- Mouth and throat infections
- Throat irritation and scratchiness
- Mild pain in the throat
- Helps reduce discomfort from minor infections
Direction of Use
- Adults and children over 6 years
- Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed
- Maximum 12 lozenges in 24 hours
- Do not chew or swallow whole
- Short-term use only
Side Effects
- Burning or tingling sensation in mouth or tongue
- Mouth irritation or discomfort
- Nausea
- Stomach upset or diarrhea
- Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, itching in rare cases)
Warnings / Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 6 years
- Contains sugar (caution in diabetes)
- Contains gluten (wheat starch) and sulphites (may trigger sensitivity)
- Stop and seek advice if symptoms last more than 3 days
- Avoid if allergic to any ingredient
- Use caution in pregnancy or breastfeeding

- Still use caution when combining with other throat lozenges or antiseptic products

- Fructose or glucose absorption disorders
