Composition

Calcium 300 mg supports strong bones and teeth and normal muscle function.
Magnesium 150 mg supports bone structure, muscle function, and energy metabolism.
Zinc 6 mg supports bone growth, immunity, and tissue repair.
Vitamin D3 10 µg (400 IU) supports calcium absorption and bone mineralisation.

Use / Indication

It is used to support bone and teeth health.
It is used in calcium and vitamin D deficiency prevention and supplementation.
It is used in children and adolescents for normal growth and bone development.
It is used in pregnancy and breastfeeding to support increased calcium needs.
It is used in adults and elderly people for bone strength and osteoporosis prevention support.

Direction of Use

It is taken orally, usually 5–10 mL twice daily for adults (or as prescribed).
Children are usually given lower doses based on age and medical advice.
It should be taken with or after food to improve absorption.
It should be shaken well before use.
It should not exceed the recommended dose.

Side Effects

It may cause mild stomach upset or nausea.
It may cause constipation or bloating in some individuals.
It may rarely cause allergic reactions such as rash or itching.
Excess intake may contribute to high calcium levels if overused.

Warnings

It should not be used in patients with high calcium levels (hypercalcaemia).
It should be used cautiously in kidney disease or kidney stone history.
It should not be combined with other high-dose calcium supplements unless advised.
It should be kept out of reach of children.

Interactions

Calcium may reduce absorption of certain antibiotics such as tetracyclines and quinolones.
It may interfere with levothyroxine if taken at the same time.
Iron absorption may be reduced if taken together.
High calcium intake may interact with diuretics (thiazides) and digitalis drugs.

Cautions

It should be used as a supplement and not a replacement for a balanced diet.
It should be used under medical supervision in chronic illness or kidney disease.
Long-term use should be monitored to avoid excess calcium intake.
It should be spaced properly from other medications for best absorption.
