Composition

Surfaz-SN is a 3-in-1 combination cream:

• Clotrimazole → antifungal (kills fungi)
• Beclomethasone dipropionate → steroid (reduces redness, itching, inflammation)
• Neomycin → antibiotic (kills bacteria)

Uses / Indications

Used for mixed skin infections (fungal + bacterial + inflammation), such as:

• Fungal skin infections with redness/itching
• Infected eczema or dermatitis
• Rashes with secondary bacterial infection
• Inflamed itchy skin conditions

It works by:

• Killing fungi and bacteria
• Reducing swelling, redness, and itching

Direction for Use

• For external use only
• Apply a thin layer on affected area
• Usually 1–2 times daily (or as prescribed)
• Wash and dry skin before application
• Wash hands after use
• Use only for the short duration prescribed

Side Effects

Common:

• Burning or stinging
• Itching
• Dryness
• Redness at application site

Less common:

• Skin thinning (with overuse)
• Worsening fungal infection if used too long (due to steroid effect)

Warnings (Important)

• Do NOT use for long periods without doctor supervision
• Avoid use on:
• Viral skin infections
• Acne or simple rashes without diagnosis
• Steroid component can:
• Mask infection
• Make fungal infections worse if misused
• Cause skin thinning with prolonged use

Interactions / Cautions

• Avoid combining with other steroid creams
• Do not mix with other antifungal/antibiotic creams unless prescribed
• Use carefully in:
• Children
• Pregnancy/breastfeeding (only if advised)
